Socorro Senior Citizen Center helps

seniors with meals, they prepare lunch

daily for people to in and eat at

the center, they also deliver meals,

as well as arrange transportation

and help with homemaking.

This program takes in volunteers

that go into the school setting and

is willing to interact with the

students to help them excel in school,

they also help seniors have a

companion that may go help them

at various times so that way they

can continue living on their own

Socorro General Hospital’s Community Based Programs strives to improve the health and well-being of women, children and families in Socorro County and to decrease the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE)which in turn will provide a healthier future for individuals.
